1. Video Editing & Post-Production

• Transform raw footage into high-quality video content for youtube and other social platforms . Cut and trim footage sequences, insert dialogues, graphics, subtitles, and music as needed.

• Use motion graphics, VFX, transitions, and animation to enhance engagement and quality.

• Color correction and color grading to maintain brand aesthetics and visual consistency.

• Audio syncing, sound design, noise removal, and music placement to enhance storytelling.

2. Creative Collaboration

• Work alongside team lead and clients to understand project goals and target audience.

• Translate briefs, scripts, and ideas into compelling video formats.

• Actively contribute to storyboarding, visual moodboarding, and pre-editing planning.

3. Content Optimization

• Tailor videos to platform-specific requirements (e.g., YouTube thumbnails, Instagram reels, vertical videos, TikTok trends).

• Deliver multiple format versions for multichannel usage.

• Compress, export, and upload content with attention to quality and compatibility.

4. Project Management

• Organize project timelines and handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

• Maintain and archive organized project files, assets, and backups.

5. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Design, or related field (preferred, not mandatory)

• 2+ years of proven experience in professional video editing.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with a variety of content styles (social media, promotional, cinematic, etc.)

• Advanced knowledge of editing software, including:

• Adobe Premiere Pro

• After Effects (motion graphics and visual effects)

• Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve

• Audition or any sound design software (bonus)

• Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (bonus)

• Solid understanding of video formats, frame rates, resolutions, and exporting best practices.

• Strong visual sense and a passion for storytelling through video.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

• Team-oriented, receptive to feedback, and always eager to improve.

• Ability to take creative ownership of projects from concept to final delivery.

Bonus Skills (Not Required, but Great to Have):

• Experience with 2D/3D animation (After Effects, etc.)

• Knowledge of YouTube content styles, current trends and video performance optimization

• Experience in editing for influencers, news content, vlogging, talking head, faceless, gaming content, or short-form content. Mainly for social media platforms ie youtube, social media

• Photography or videography knowledge
