The Position

We are looking for two Senior Developers within the scheduling, planning, and analysis team. The project is to migrate a legacy MFC application to the web by using the ASP.NET framework. Hired candidates will work on a variety of development tasks in a growing organization and focus on our client-server transit workforce solutions and will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, bug fixes, and enhancing existing code.  They will also be expected to participate in cross-functional teamwork such as code-review, documentation, and defining specification.

Required Qualification and Experience:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering Science or equivalent.


• 5+ years of relevant, hands-on experience with C# development and .NET technologies, particularly ASP.NET, ASP.net Core MVC and the most up-to-date .NET frameworks.


• Strong experience on front-end development using HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS/CSS3 etc.


• Strong experience of developing responsive UI using Bootstrap or any other framework.


• Strong understanding and working experience with the Entity Framework and relational databases, particularly MS SQL Server and Oracle.


• Strong experience with thin-client and service-oriented architectures.


• Industry experience of best practices, Object-Oriented design and software architecture.

Nice to Have:

• C++ experience, particularly with the MFC framework.


• Knowledge of transit, human resources and finance applications would be considered an asset.
