| Job Description: |
We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local and national regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and maintain a risk management register
- Provide guidance and training to employees on HSE matters
- Investigate and report on accidents and incidents
- Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (knowledge of food safety will be an added advantage)
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as regulatory bodies, clients, and contractors
Requirements:
- At least a graduate degree in a relevant field
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification
- 3+ years of experience as an HSE Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of local and national HSE regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
